Meet Your Instructor: Alankar Joshi
Alankar Joshi is a finance leader, serial entrepreneur, and executive educator who bridges the gap between emerging artificial intelligence and practical corporate finance. He serves as Affiliate Faculty for the Financial Planning & Analysis and Long Term Financial Planning modules within the Chief Financial Officer Programme at Singapore Management University (SMU).
Over a 25-year career, Alankar has worked across strategy consulting at Accenture and Alvarez & Marsal, investment management, and senior transformation roles at Barclays, UBS and Standard Chartered. He has served as a corporate CFO, co-founded a Singapore-based HR technology startup, and established Palimala Ventures Pte. Ltd. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School and has completed all three levels of the CFA Program.
As an executive educator, Alankar has taught and coached C level executives in executive education programmes at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), and the Asian Institute of Management. He founded AIforCFO.com to deliver immediate, operational utility to finance teams, drawing on his experience advising mid-market enterprises on AI adoption, governance, and financial transformation.
