A Note from the Founder
When I first started thinking about this course, it wasn’t just out of curiosity about AI — it came from many years of working across consulting, investing, start-ups, and executive education.
It was during my work as an executive educator, coach, and mentor that a clear pattern emerged: in boardrooms, workshops, and mentoring sessions, finance leaders kept asking the same question — “What does AI mean for us as finance leaders, and how do we actually use it?”
I looked around and saw two extremes:
- High-level executive programs — too academic, lacking a practitioner’s perspective
- Technical courses requiring coding experience — rigorous, but not relevant for senior finance leaders
The middle ground didn’t exist.
So I began experimenting with platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Manus. I built simple no-code apps, shared my lessons with mentees, and saw how quickly they found value. Their feedback was clear: “If you build that course, I’ll sign up.”
That’s how AIforCFO.com was born: not as an academic exercise, but as a mission to help finance leaders gain the tools, confidence, and foresight to lead in the age of AI.
